Scott Lucas interviews his 82-year-old father Dave, an artist and outdoorsman who shares stories from his life growing up in northern Wisconsin, getting drafted into the Vietnam War, and working various jobs while continuing to paint. Dave discusses his artistic philosophy and influences, his love of fishing and hunting, and how he has been able to make a living selling his nature-themed paintings to locals and tourists in the Northwoods area.
